Granton Community Gardeners

Granton Community Gardeners: Local people growing, cooking and eating food together.

We are a community led charity based in North Edinburgh.

We create and cultivate community gardens, host community meals and events, support anyone in the area who wants to grow food, and think creatively about how best to make sure everyone in our area is fed well.

IMPORTANT: DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK WE HAVE SUSPENDED ALL OUR REGULAR GARDENING DROP INS, COMMUNITY MEALS AND OTHER EVENTS.

WE ARE WORKING CLOSELY WITH OTHER LOCAL ORGANISATIONS TO COORDINATE FOOD PROVISION FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS IT.

We are currently piloting a new food delivery service in partnership with a new Pantry that Pilton Community Health Project are setting up. We'll publicise this more widely soon. If you'd be interested in joining the pilot, please email: info@grantoncommunitygardeners.org

If you live in North Edinburgh and are experiencing hardship due to the current situation with the virus and new lockdown, we recommend calling the Freshstart helpline: 0131 356 0220

THE BAKERY IS OPEN AS USUAL, AND BREAD WILL BE ON SALE VIA THE WINDOW AT PILTON COMMUNITY HEALTH PROJECT every SATURDAY 10am-2pm. (on Pilton Drive North, just round the corner from Boswall Parkway)
