Please let us know what you think about nature in Granton on this short survey. The results will help us plan how people and wildlife can live well together in the area in future.
Event cancelled due to weather forecast - too windy for seeds!

Join us for round 3 of wildflower and bulb planting in East Pilton Park this autumn. We're adding a splash of colour to the long grass areas of the park to improve life for our local bugs and the birds that eat them, as well as for all us humans enjoying the view!
We'll be digging up patches of grass and replacing them with seeds and bulbs to flower in the spring and summer - light and heavy jobs available to suit anyone. We'll have some tea and biscuits to help the work along!
Please let us know if you're coming so we can bring enough tools and biscuits - katie@grantoncommunitygardeners.org
Sunday 30th November, 2-3.30pm, meet at Wardie Bay

Join us for a Lost Species Day walk as we explore the story of European flat oysters in the Firth of Forth - made locally extinct around 100 years ago and now being reintroduced. We'll be searching for the ghosts of this previously dominant species in the old shells that still wash up on our beaches, and we'll be contributing our findings to Restoration Forth's research. We'll be spending a bit of time on the beach at either end and taking the pavement route in between. Dress warm! Toilets and hot drinks (for sale - or bring a flask) available at the Pitt at the end. Book a free spot here via Eventbrite.Â
Any time!
